Efficient Iterative Demapping and Decoding Techniques for Superimposed Adaptive Network Coded Cooperation

Abstract(in English) Superimposed adaptive network coded cooperation (SANCC) has gained much attention since it can obtain higher diversity and coding gain simultaneously without reducing bandwidth efficiency for wireless sensor networks. Codewords encoded at different time are mapped on one symbol in SANCC schemes. Therefore, all of these codewords are not statistically independence and the optimal decoding needs a long observation and large memory for decoding calculation. This paper focuses on the similarity between SANCC and spatially coupled codes and proposes efficient decoding scheme. We evaluate the performance of our proposed decoding schemes in terms of bit error rate by using extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) charts and computer simulations.
