Abstract(in English) | The wireless sensor network is expected to be applied to various fields such as building automation, smart metering, and environmental sensing in a disaster areas. However, power consumptions of some specific nodes increase because of unbalanced load, which is called a hot spot problem. A number of studies have treated the hot spot problem. Route-construction methods using mobile sink or multiple sink nodes have been proposed for solving the hot spot problem. Route-construction methods using mobile sink node have been proposed for 6LoWPAN/RPL environment. However, since it takes time to reconstruct route in 6LoWPAN/RPL environment, network lifetime is degraded. This paper proposes a route-construction method to prolong network lifetime by using multiple sink nodes in 6LoWPAN/RPL. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method by comparing with the conventional method. |
