Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to grasp easily and promptly the state of the substation facilities, utilizing a wireless sensor network that can expand a communication area by the relay can be considered. Radio wave propagation in the substation is multipath rich environment due to reflection by the metal structures, and the transmission characteristics become unstable by the node position in the wireless sensor network. In this paper, the results of a basic study on a link metric intending to extract unstable links in wireless sensor networks, and a link metric of difference of the received power of two frequencies are presented. Using the link metric based on this method, eliminating the link degrading the transmission characteristic by the node position variation, and stable operational of the wireless sensor networks can be expected.
