Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Sensor collaborative beamforming by adaptive transmission has been proposed for wireless sensor networks. In the beamforming, beamforming processing and collaborative transmitting sensor selection are adaptively performed according to reception quality of a receiving sensor, and power-saving effect by the beamforming was evaluated without frequency offset between transmitting and receiving sensors. This paper evaluates power-saving effect of the beamforming with frequency offset by computer simulation. The simulation results show that total power consumption of the beamforming with 3 collaborative sensor candidates can be decreased by 43% even with the normalized offset frequency of 1.0×10^<-3> between transmitting and receiving sensors.
