Image-File Handling Components for Developing Services Computing Applications

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes image-file handling components that enable efficient development of Services Computing applications. When creating Web or smart-phone applications, it is usual to make use of image files. Therefore, providing components that handle image files seems to be a simple, realistic solution to achieve this goal. Also, the coordination functionality between Android and Web applications facilitates the mash-up of various applications. Thus, we have designed components for 1) dynamically drawing lines or figures on the browser, 2) recording them on an image file, 3) exchanging image files between different programs as a Web service, 4) managing and linking up image files shot by the Android camera and personal data by means of the inner database, 5) coordinating the Android and Web components, and 6) judging the attributes of any two of clicked images from a group of thumbnails arranged on the browser window and identifying whether they belong to the same group. We expect to see enhanced efficiency in developing various mashed-up applications by utilizing these components.
