Abstract(in English) | The number of ECUs mounted onto an automobile has increased, because various control systems in automobiles have been computerized. With advancement of the computerization of automobiles, vulnerability of vehicle-mounted systems is pointed out. However, activities regarding the security of vehicle-mounted systems have not been positively performed in Japan. This study examines the effects of ECU programs which has been infected with Trojan virus to improve the safety of vehicle-mounted systems. The dedicated Trojan virus for ECU program is introduced and it is embedded in a CAN board. Experimental results reveal the threat of Trojan virus in ECU programs. |
