Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The number of ECUs mounted onto an automobile has increased, because various control systems in automobiles have been computerized. With advancement of the computerization of automobiles, vulnerability of vehicle-mounted systems is pointed out. However, activities regarding the security of vehicle-mounted systems have not been positively performed in Japan. This study examines the effects of ECU programs which has been infected with Trojan virus to improve the safety of vehicle-mounted systems. The dedicated Trojan virus for ECU program is introduced and it is embedded in a CAN board. Experimental results reveal the threat of Trojan virus in ECU programs.
