Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we show that the additive watermarking scheme satisfies the evaluation criteria ver.3 developed by IEICE-ISS Information Hiding Criteria (IHC) committee and provides higher performance than the 3rd IHC watermarking contest winning scheme in the highest image quality category. The criteria suppose the watermarked image is compressed at delivery and then compressed and cropped at redistribution. The criteria regulate the lowest quality of delivered image and maximum compression ratio of redistributed image without detection error. The experimental results show that PSNR of delivered image for the additive scheme achieves 49.2dB under the maximum compression ratio, which is higher than that for the winning scheme (47.1dB), by selecting parameters properly.
