Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In an aging society, the death of elderly people living alone has become a serious social problem. In this study, we propose a new method for detecting the life crisis of elderly people applying pattern recognition technology. More specifically , detection of non-usual sound (for example, sound of a person fall) that does not appear in the day-to-day are useful. In order to establish the method, Perceptron which separate the patterns linearly and the minimum error method which separate the patterns non-linearly are studied. The experiment result describes that the minimum error method shows the better performance than the perceptron.
