Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The compromise of personal information has become a social problem as the rapid spread of smart phones and tablet-type device. However, Risk of stolen the personal identification number (PIN) of the smart phone is higher than the conventional terminal because it is easy to watch the display behind the person and to guess the PIN from the smudge and hand motion. In this paper, two channel authentication model which uses one channel on which there is a possibility to eavesdrop as a main channel and the other channel on which only the user can recognize as a sub channel is proposed. A prototype where a touch screen is used as a main channel and a vibration is used as a sub channel is implemented and the usability is evaluated.
