Abstract(in English) | Car2car (car to car) communication has attracted much attention these years. In car2car systems, vehicles exchange information with one another while running on roads and in turn constitute an ad hoc network, which is so called VANET (Vehicular Ad hoc Network). In VANET, each vehicle is authenticated via RSUs (Road Side Units). However, the obvious disadvantage of such an authentication scheme is that authentication could not be performed if RSUs fail. In order to alleviate this problem, in this paper we propose a method by which each vehicle can authenticate one another without help of RSUs in an autonomous and distributed manner. |
