Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless LAN, since the bandwidth is shared with terminals, the throughput is reduced when the same content is downloaded by plural terminals. Therefore, we have proposed a method for content distribution in wireless LAN which achieve faster downloads by combining file piecing and pseudo-multicast which is overhearing packets of the same content for other terminals. When applying this method in the wireless multi-hop network, improvement of the piece distrubution efficiency by collecting the frames from the different hops. However, in the multi-hop situation, the overheared frames have to be delt adequently for packet loss and disorder deliverly because that the overhearing terminals extract the pieces by matching the sequence number of TCP segments. To handle the problems, we improve a byte steam management method in the overhearing node to get peaces from the overhearing efficiently. The proposed method is evaluated in testbed.
