| 抄録(和) | Lustreは現在幅広い分野で利用されている分散ファイルシステムの1つである.その理由として,Lustreはオープンソースであるため,カスタマイズしやすいということが挙げられる.Lustreはファイルを保存するオブジェクトサーバと直接データ転送を行うため,ファイル転送時のパフォーマンスが優れている.また,ファイルをいくつのオブジェクトサーバに分散して保存するかユーザが決定することができるなど,自由度が高い.本稿ではベンチマークソフトを使用し,小規模クラスタ上でLustreのファイルIO性能の評価を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | The Lustre file system is one of the most used distributed filesystem in a wide range of fields. As a reason for that the Lustre is an open-source software. Users can modify the Lustre file system as they like. The Lustre file system has a better file 10 performance because it receives file metadata from metadata server and stores files to object storage servers directly. Also, users can specify how many object storage servers assigned to files. We make an analysis of the Lustre performance by using IOR benchmark software on small-scale cluster. |
