Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recently, DNS cache poisoning attack is being focused again. Though it is derived from the basic structure of DNS, it is hard to say that its principle, conditions of success, and risk in the real Internet are understood properly. In this report, we describe various attacks to the DNS, especially the methods of injecting the forged NS resource records. And we show our results for evaluating the risk of the attack, and introduce the mechanisms of proposed/implemented countermeasures against the attack. |
