| 抄録(和) | インターネット市場における競争の激化にともない,ISPには,顧客満足度向上や事業戦略決定のために,ユーザーの体感品質をよりきめ細かく把握するための仕組みが求められている.本稿では,全国140ヶ所以上に設置した測定エージェントとそれらを管理するマスターサーバにより構成されるインターネット測定システムについてその構築と運用の現状を報告する.はじめに,インターネット測定システムの構成を示す.さらに,そのシステムを利用した運用の現状を報告し,インターネット測定システム構築の課題とその成果を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | With severe competition in the Internet market, Internet Service Providers need to measure the performance of Internet in detail in order to keep the customer satisfaction and decide business strategies. In this paper, we report the system and current status for Internet measurement. The system is composed of the measurement agents (MAs) which measure Internet performances and Master Server which has the functions to instruct the MAs. Approximately 140 MAs were placed all over Japan. We suggest the system architecture of Internet measurement system. We report the current status of the network operations using the system. We introduce the result and the problems of the system we have been operating. |
