Analysis of Fundamental Characteristics of Body Weight Shifting Motion using Audio Data

Abstract(in English) Body weight shifting motion means that the subject on the force plate shifts his/her body weight according to the reference points on the computer display. The author has developed the measurement system using audio data which can indicate the information auditorily. The author has performed experiments on the four conditions; visually-only condition, non-visually condition, auditorily-only condition and visually-auditorily condition. Then, the author has analyzed the fundamental characteristics and learning processes from the viewpoints of the difference depending on the four conditions. The results indicated that the subjects could perform the body weight shifting motion by using audio data only.
