Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | To support visually impaired patients by providing medical information in Braille, we have researched developed an automatic Braille translation program and actually used it in our hospital. However, we needed to modify the sentences manually, before translation, so that visual impaired patients can understand them more easily. Such modification may be realized automatically by a computer program. So we analyzed and compared the sentences before and after the modification and developed a program to change the phrases for visually impaired people. |
