Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) While accessibility surveys have been conducted for a number of organizational websites, continuous accessibility evaluation of particular sites have scarcely been reported. In view of the rapid advance of the information and communication technologies (ICTs), however, evaluation of frequently updated websites should be made on a continuous basis. The authors attempted continuous evaluation of the web pages of prefectural libraries in Japan, which are important public service facilities for visually impaired persons. Their websites in the past acquired using The Wayback Machine were examined, and the counts of the "problematic" scores for each library site were chronologically recorded. Features of the resulting curves were used to characterize the libraries.
