Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Breadcrumbs has been proposed for in-network guidance towards cached contents. We have also proposed extended-Breadcrumbs, named multi-Breadcrumbs, where a router is allowed to store not only the most recent download direction but also slightly old ones. In this paper, we focus content discovery function of multi-Breadcrumbs and propose Throughput Sensitive content selection method where content receiver selects the best content which provides the best bottleneck throughput. Our simulation results reveal that our proposed Throughput Sensitive content selection method improves throughput of not only popular contents but also non-popular contents. Improvement of non-popular contents is brought by effective traffic distribution towards popular content which gives link bandwidth room for non-popular content.
