Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is known that a footstep is useful tool to estimate a human state. Various surveillance systems using footstep are proposed. These techniques require the time when the footstep is recorded to extract feature parameters. A conventional research proposes the footstep detection by using the power or kurtosis. However, the recording condition is limited to the indoor environment. In this paper, the novel approach to detect the starting time of footstep is proposed.
