Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the performance of inter vehicle communication (IVC) is evaluated when direct sequence spreads spectrum (DS/SS) communication using slotted ALOHA for the MAC protocol is applied. When the DS/SS scheme is used, the influence of hide terminal problem doesn't occur. On the other hand, the near-far problem, multiple access interference and inter-symbol interference occur as a problem. In order to solve theses problem, successive interference cancellation (SIC) scheme, restriction of communication distance and enhancement of MAC protocol are used. By performing SIC, the influence of near-far problem and multiple access interference are reduced. However, the inter-symbol interference still remains when the communication distance is longer or the GPS positioning error occurs. In these cases, by performing enhancement of MAC protocol, the probability of inter-symbol interference is reduced.
