Abstract(in English) | We developed a few mode fiber which can propagate multiple signals through a core simultaneously. To suppress the coupling between each mode, the effective refractive index differences between modes were enlarged by means of the optimization of the refractive index profile of the fiber. This fiber can contribute to the realization of the weakly coupled mode division multiplexing transmission system with relaxed MIMO signal processing. |
