Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Connection of multi-core fiber require precise alignment of rotational angle of the fiber. Power monitoring method using local light coupling and detection technique can be used in the field. Local light coupling and detection are using bending loss. However, The bending loss of trench assisted multi-core fiber is suppressed. Therefore, by reducing the bending radius applied to the multi-core fiber, it was confirmed that rotational angle can be adjusted easily.
