Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed and expanded "On-site AR exhibition system" in which you can see a past scene where it taken, superimposed on the current landscape. In this study, we investigate how to treat translational motion in the system. For user's effective viewing, he or she should be induced to go in a direction in which contents exist while giving him or her assurances about self-motivated discovery. We developed a new AR exhibition system in which you can walk around and view contents, and proposed a method to induce user's translational motion by applying 4 kinds of visual effects to it. Experimental results show that user's motion range can be controlled by the one of the 4 visual effects.
