Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to correspond to drastically increase in mobile data traffic, analog radio-on fiber (RoF) has been studied as a next-generation transmission system. We investigated the performance of a burst-mode erbium-doped fiber amplifier that has high linearity for LTE format packetized RoF signals. We observed a low error vector magnitude value over a wide optical input power range compared with the conventional EDFA.
