| 抄録(和) | 本稿では,オンライン手書き日本語文書に対するCRF(条件付き確率場)に基づく文字・非文字分類手法を提案する.文字・非文字分類は,ユーザに制限のない自由な筆記環境を実現するために重要であり,文字認識や図形認識の精度向上にも貢献する.文脈情報を活用した分類手法は,優れた結果を出すことが一般的に知られている.本研究では,CRFを用いることによって文書内の筆画間の位置や時間に関する文脈情報を効果的に利用し,文字・非文字分類の精度向上を目指す.同じ実験条件で,文脈情報を活用した手法であるCRFとMRF(マルコフ確率場)に基づいた分類手法の比較実験を行い,提案する手法の性能を評価する. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose the method based on Conditional Random fields (CRF) for separating text and non-text ink strokes in online handwritten Japanese documents. Text/non-text classification requires for the free handwriting, and contributes to the improvement of text and figure recognition accuracies. Several works using context information reported superior results for text/non-text classification to those without using context information. The purpose of this work is to improve the accuracy of text/non-text classification. To attain our goal, we propose the classification method based on CRF utilizing spatial and temporal context of ink documents effectively. In this experiment, we compare the two methods based on CRF and Markov Random fields (MRF) for classifying ink strokes into text and non-text, and evaluate the performances of methods. |
