| 抄録(英) | Face recognition has achieved significant progress in recent years. Its applications under various difficult conditions have been also extensively studied. However, face recognition under sever illumination conditions is still very challenging. In this paper, we propose a new method for extracting the illumination insensitive facial features. Multifractal analysis is used due to its ability in coding the local and global textural regularity. We call the resultant face representation as "Multifractal-Face (MFF)". According to the experimental results, MFF generates satisfactory performance. |
