Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the latter half of the 20th century, the concept of phrase-structure was introduced as a way of understanding the linguistic utterances of human beings. We could therefore assume that if we translate information-units in order from the beginning to the end, we could get more accurate translations. In fact, professional translators and competent English teachers have been translating Japanese to English or vice versa, using verbal effectively as connectives according to an information-unit comprising a verb. I will show you actual examples of translation in information-unit order.
