| 抄録(和) | 頭部伝達関数(Head-related transfer function:HRTF)や,室内インパルス応答(Directional room impulse responses:DRIR)は,3次元音空間のレンダリングばかりでなく,その知覚や物理的性質を知るための重要な指標である。このため,世界各国のさまざまな研究機関でHRTFやDRIRのデータセットの測定や,蓄積化が行われている。一方,それらの測定環境はさまざまであり,スピーカの配置,音源の種類,座標の取り扱い等,統一的に測定結果を用いることは困難であった。そのような状況に鑑み,Audio Engineering Society(AES)では,異なるデータベース間でデータを相互的に使えるようなフォーマットの標準化に取り組んでおり,まもなくAES-X212/SOFAとしてリリースされる運びとなった。本稿では,SOFAの考え方や,データの取り扱い方について概観する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) and directional room impulse responses (DRIRs) enable to render/synthesize spatial acoustic information. These functions include, on the one hand, the auditory cues for spatial perception and, on the other hand, the acoustic characteristics of a space. Many research groups/institutes have measured HRTF/DRIR data and stored them using different data formats. The measurement setups typically differ among measurements, e.g. the excitation signal, the spatial sampling grid, the coordinate system, the source distance, and the room conditions. This makes it difficult to use the data provided by different institutes in a unified way. The spatially oriented format for acoustics (SOFA) aims at representing HRTFs/DRIRs in a general and self-contained way. The SOFA standard has been confirmed by Audio Engineering Society (AES) and will be published soon. This report describes the idea of SOFA and its details. |
