Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a method for free answer classification and summarization by using text mining techniques. For the complicated free answer text in syntax, we proposed using the centrality of word roles in sentence to enhance the weight of words which are important for the sentence and answer. We also tried to improve the performance of clustering result by using a thesaurus, spelling normalization and Levenshtein distance. An experimental result shows that the proposal is effective to classify free answer text although further improvement in semantic area is aspired.
