Reliable Operation of 920 MHz Band Remote Wireless Control System Using Source Routing Method

Abstract(in English) Control networks that require higher real time property and reliability are usually composed of wire communication. However, it costs much money to lay wire communication cable, so it is more difficult to realize wired control networks as the number of sensing nodes increases. Therefore, we investigated the application of economical 920 MHz band wireless communication to control networks. In addition, we developed a source routing program to improve reliability of wireless control networks, and examined the function of source routing by conducting experiment with wireless units implemented the source routing program. As a result of the experiment, we showed that the reliability of wireless control networks can be improved by applying source routing.
