Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present error vector magnitude (EVM) impact on the transmission performance of OFDM with 256- and 1024-QAM by link-level simulations. BER performance is highlighted as parameters of coding rates for 256- and 1024-QAM in the presence of EVM degradation. Using these results, we discuss the relation of spectral efficiency and channel quality, such as E_b/N_0, to meet a BER of 10^<-2> for 64-, 256- and 1024-QAM from the link adaptation perspective.
