Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This research describes about the difficulty evaluation method of mystery novels and the estimation method of culprits using syntactic analysis and anaphora analysis. Especially, in this research, we aim to show the level of the difficulty based on automatic evaluating of many mystery novels when readers select the mystery novel. Our method estimates the culprit by using the information of each character's appearance ratio and evaluates the difficulty based on the transition of the appearance ratio along the progress of the story. Consequently, we found out that the appearance ratio of culprits increased in the end of the story. This is a basic tendency on the mystery novel because the reasoning of the murder case is conducted in the end of the story. Therefore, we evaluated the difficulty of the mystery novel what indicated this tendency to be low.
