Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Through the use of DAISY formatted contents, the visually impaired are capable of reading documents. At this time, nearly all of DAISY formatted contents are read by volunteers and it requires for a long of time and effort. We therefore started practical experiments using text-to-speech system and a dedicated GUI based authoring tool. In this paper, we describe the outline of these experiments and report the progress.
