Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Read/write simulation like demonstration is performed to evaluate the performance of signal processing. A granular medium made on simulator is magnetized by a writer, and SMR (shingled magnetic recording) pattern is obtained. The performance of LDPC coding and iterative decoding is evaluated by applying the waveforms reproduced by dual reader from the SMR pattern to a two-dimensional equalizer.
