Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a 10-channel, 6.4-THz spacing AWG for cyclic waveband routing on the entire T-band and O-band with a flat spectral response. We employ an N×2N-1 AWG configuration combined with N2×1 couplers to realize a cyclic AWG that utilizes a single diffraction order. Simulated results show that cyclic operation is achieved and the worst frequency deviation is around 2 THz. We also employ sine-based non-linear taper to attain flat spectral responses and the simulated results show flatten spectral responses with the 1-dB bandwidth varying from 2.6 THz to 3.6 THz.
