Abstract(in English) Information about events that are scheduled to take place at the travel destination is crucial when planning a trip. However, it is very costly and time consuming to compile information about the events manually and to keep this data up-to-date. In general, we can obtain information about popular or traditional events through newspaper articles, Web portal sites for travel, and travel guidebooks. However, only a small percentage of the full range of travel-related events appear in such information media service. We have therefore constructed a system that can retrieve travel-related event movies, which were automatically collected from the Web.
