Abstract(in English) Template matching is one of the most popular algorithms used in industrial field. Behavior of template matching is very simple, and it is easy to apply to various kind of manufacturing systems. In this paper, I will introduce a basic algorithm of template matching using reduced pixels. And two extended algorithms of this basic algorithm are also explained. One is the algorithm for robust matching in drastic illumination changes. The other is the algorithm for extracting pixels that are effective to distinguish other similar objects.
