Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We experimentally evaluated the relationship between display resolution and physiological and psychological state during contents viewing at 4K and 2K on a 65-inch 4K TV. The results showed that the scores for "presence," "impact," "realism," "quality" and "precision" when viewing 4K scenic content were significantly higher than those for 2K content. Moreover, total-Hb in NIRS, representing nervous system activity, when viewing 4K natural scenic content was significantly higher than those for 2K content, and heart rate, representing sympathetic nervous system activities, when viewing 4K natural scenic content was significantly lower than those for 2K content. |
