| 抄録(和) | 初期の言語発達において,幼児がどんな語彙を獲得していくかという問題は,語彙発達メカニズムを考える上で重要である。本研究では,語彙チェックリスト法で取得した横断データを用いて,日本語習得児がどんなカテゴリの語彙を習得していくかを解析した。その結果,発達初期には社会語が最も高い割合を示すが,その後,一般名詞や述語の割合が上昇することがわかった。また一般名詞と述語が表裏一体の関係で増減を繰り返す時期があることもわかった。こうした結果から,日本語の語彙発達の特徴とその背後にある語彙発達メカニズムについて考察する。 |
| 抄録(英) | In the field of child language development, it is important to address an issue of what types of vocabularies toddlers aged at 0-2 years tend to acquire during earlier stages of lexical development. The present study used large-scale cross-sectional data on vocabulary checklists to examine the developmental changes in Japanese vocabulary composition. Results showed that Japanese-acquiring toddlers tend to acquire more social words within the first 50 words, and to increase common nouns and predicates after 50-word acquisition. Further analysis also showed the seesaw-like changes of common nouns and predicates after 200-word acquisition. These findings are discussed in light of the developmental characteristics of Japanese children and the underlying mechanism of word learning. |
