Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical frequency comb allow us to measure the light frequency at a very high precision. Hence various application has been developed. Optical Kerr comb generated in microcavities has similar property from that of frequency comb light. In addition Kerr comb in microcavities exhibit higher repletion rate due to the small size of the cavity. In this study, we study numerically the mode-locking condition and demonstrate harmonic model locking in experiment. In addition, we show that the system is more stable when we control the gap distance between the cavity and the waveguide with PID feedback. We controlled the power of the Kerr comb and stabilized it.
