Abstract(in English) Direct optical coupling between a four-channel lens-integrated surface-emitting DFB array and a SMF array was demonstrated. A very narrow emission beam was realized by monolithic lens integration, and all four channels were thus simultaneously coupled to a SMF array with large tolerance of 10μm at excess loss of-1 dB.
