Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We numerically analyze characteristics of all-optical pulse regeneration using the cascaded second-order nonlinear effect in quasi-phase matched lithium niobate waveguide devices. In the analyses, the effect of the time offset between the signal and clock pulses launched on the devise is investigated. We find that the initial time offset must be optimized in order to realize the optical regeneration.
