Abstract(in English) | Temperature dependence of light emission from germanium is studied based on first-principles calculations for the purpose of realizing germanium laser, which can be integrated onto a silicon chip. As a result, we found that whether electron injection is enough for lasing or not can be evaluated by measuring temperature dependence of spontaneous emissions. |
