Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to clarify electrical threshold and its probability in occurrence, arc discharge in electrical boundary area was studied. In this study, probability approach was applied by well known method. A statistical approach with many measurement data was used to determine the arc occurrence frequency. In this process, to obtain reliable and stable contacts behaviors, commercial mass production switches with sustainable long term operation was used. Behaviors of arc discharge were examined at near the boundary. In the results, occurrence of discharge was strongly affected by the change in current under constant voltage was found.
