Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study investigated changes of acoustic characteristics of Mikawa dialects' speakers who moved from Mikawa area in Aichi prefecture to Kanazawa city. In the investigation, we analyzed following different three acoustic characteristics: vowel formant frequencies (F1, F2), a Mel-Frequency Cepstrum Coefficient (MFCC) and a nasal formant frequency. Analysis results showed that all of characteristics of the Mikawa dialects' speaker who moved to Kanazawa city were closer to the characteristics of Kanazawa dialect than those of Mikawa dialect. The result indicates the possibility that changing of language environment affects articulations.
