Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are few reports the studies on physiological changes of skin condition of installing trans-femoral prostheses. The purpose of this paper was the comparison of skin conditions between installing trans-femoral prostheses and the other normal side. It was also compared skin condition of installing experimental trans-femoral prostheses with installing trans-femoral prostheses. There were the authors conducted three experiments as follows skin pH , skin humidity and skin microbiological condition. As a result the skin pH and the skin humidity of installing trans-femoral prostheses and installing experimental trans-femoral prostheses were higher than the other normal side. Number of bacteria was not recognized in installing trans-femoral prostheses and installing experiment trans-femoral prostheses. These result suggested that skin pH were changed by installing trans-femoral prostheses from acid range to neutral range. Skin humidity were also change by installing trans-femoral prostheses became higher. In contrast, number of bacteria was not showed clear difference but we could obtain a some tendency which indicated an increasing bacterial count in by installing trans-femoral prostheses.
