Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently there are various kinds of wireless communication terminals with an integrated wireless module and platform such as an internal wireless communication module in a PC. In platforms equipped with wireless devices, radiated noise caused by the operation of the circuit board becomes a problem. The harmonics of this radiated noise due to the fundamental clock signal interferes with the radio signal in the wireless LAN band. Spread spectrum clock(SSC) techniques are commonly employed to reduce EMI. The technique has the ability to reduce the spectral peak intensity of clock harmonics noise by sweeping the frequency of the fundamental clock of PC. However, few investigations have performed a variety of evaluation of the impact of SSC signals in the wireless LAN frequency band. In this paper, we modeled the clock harmonics noise swept frequency as a sweeping CW signal and evaluated the degradation of bit error rate of the OFDM signal by simulation.
