Abstract(in English)	Rakuten Institute of Technology or RIT is a strategic research institute of Rakuten Group, in operation at 3 locations of Tokyo, New York and Paris. We recruit 50 members from 13 nations, mainly holding Ph.D. in computer science. Our research areas range widely from Cloud computing, HPC, Data Mining, AR, Ubiquitous Computing and more. In this talk, we will explain about researches we have conducted to adapt to the changes of the business and technology in the internet service industry and issues we have, and then illustrate the business requirement for communication infrastructure by referring to data and transaction explosion.
