抄録(英) Among inertial navigation systems (INS), the MEMS-based inertial sensor one is now dominant type because of the advantages of MEMS devices such as small size, low weight, low power consumption, short start-up time and high reliability. In this case, the signals of MEMS rate gyroscopes are used to keep track of orientation and those of MEMS accelerometers are resolved into global coordinates to track position. This paper focuses on the direction cosines representation to derive an algorithm for tracking the position and direction of the moving objects used for MEMS-based sensors INS. We also introduce a self-made INS using the commercial MEMS sensors combined with wide bandwidth technology GPRS/ 3G to monitor, control and manage the moving object. The measurement results provided by our INS including information of the position, velocity, and attitude of vehicles are transmitted to a server upon GIS (Geographic Information System) digital map. The test data then is used for a computational program. The obtained result is relatively good agreement with that one we got from GPS which is integrated in our INS to enhance the augmentation performance considered as acceptable reliability.
