Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Characteristics of the time domain analysis of lossy nonuniform transmission line by using the CIP method has been described. We derive the update equations of CIP method from Telegrapher's equations of lossy nonuniform transmission line. We also derive the update equations at the input and output ports considering terminations. In these, loss is considered by the semi-Lagrangian approximations method. By performing numerical examples, merits and demerits of the CIP method in the time domain analysis of lossy nonuniform transmission line has been considered in comparison with the FDTD method.
